How long do the blooms last?

I have a Aechmea fasciata that has been blooming since July is that normal? It is beautiful and I'm truely amazed that it has lasted this long.

Yes, they are very long lasting. Usually baby pink until the tiny flowers are finished, then it goes brilliant pink, then slowly fades to brown. Good value eh?
