Hey!!
Looks environmental to me.. I have some hybrids that are deformed when the temps get way up there...Which one is it?

Well the top part was broke off and these are the side shoots that came up..I know the name but I need to check w my friend first...lol..

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

I've also seen deformity in immature plants, but it could also be some sort of mechanical damage to the stem around that area. I would wait to see what other flushes look like.

Well the brug is loaded w blooms that will open in few days. I cant wait to see what happens.lol

I have been getting wierd blooms with the colder weather. Painted lady and santa rosa almost look white when they are normally dark pink. Also, some of my doubles have been coming out shredded looking.

I will be watching this one to see if anymore weird blooms are developing..and will take pics since it is loaded with bloom buds..Hope this flushes good...

I have had Santa Rosa blooming this week in the house and it was never more than a very pale pink..

Mrs.Kylie post a picture.

Jinny Lind and Mountain Magic bloomed in my greenhouse at the same time last week. The blooms on both were a pale version of themselves. Now it looks like Jinny Lind may have two seed pods. I'll have to wait and see if they stick 'cause sometimes they fall off while still small. Especially since the plant itself is small.
