So my daughter is in kindergarten this year and one of the main highlights on her first day of school was finding out they they had their very own library *IN* the school! They have library day every Monday. Today she picked out a book that "we could read to the chickens". So I obliged. She asked the librarian to help to find a book about chickens and found one called, "The Problem with Chickens". Its quite cute -- and oddly fitting to our girls -- they become too busy being like their human friends that they forget they are chickens. I say this to the fowl girls that are hanging out IN my house, ON my couch, eating apple peelings. HA!
Anyway, here are some pictures to share for an evening (or whatever time you're reading this) laugh.

Thanks. I had to laugh. When I clicked on the thumbnail of the first picture, it was the first time I'd seen it blown up.
DH is grimacing because Talula like to peck the heck outta yah when you are feeding her. We laugh because its as if she's trying to get back at you for holding her. ;-)
