Hello from the East Texas sticks *Between Dallas & Texarkana

North, TX

I've been wandering around this garden for about a month now and found my way here today! So much to see and learn.

I'm new to DG and new to the area I'm living in! It's thrilling to be here among people who enjoy gardening and mother nature as much as I do. No one around the house really relates to my "tree hugging" ways.

Actually, my best friend has no concept of planting or even a desire visit me since I moved to the sticks! LOL. I once gave her some houseplants and about a month later I asked her how they were doing. Well...she couldn't understand why they were doing so badly since she was watering them regularly with a squirt-bottle!!! She learned about roots that day! I'm still shaking my head...but it's funny now.

I look forward to meeting some fellow gardeners and of course taking the oportunity to learn from ya'll. Hopefully, down the road I'll have some experiences to share with you too!

Welcome, Christine. This really is a great place to meet people. Have fun visiting all the different forums. There are still some I haven't visited yet. I like to read the articles and get great reviews of plants and stores.
Happy Thanksgiving.
