Mother's day gift
I do not know how big it would be by mothers day but it probably would not be blooming yet. My mother also has trouble with plants but loves to recive them as gifts. I either give foliage plants or blooming plants. I don't give her something that will take time to bloom because it upsets her that she did not keep them alive long enough to see.
good point - maybe I just need to go buy one. can I get a large, healthy one by mail order?
2ndChance, I would mail you a cutting if there is one left. My next door neighbor has one but we had a hard freeze several nights this week so I think he cut it down to the ground already. I will check with him later today. If he still has some left, would you like a stem cutting for postage?

Good chancea cutting below the Y won't bloom by Mothers Day either.. Have you looked around The Marketplace.. There are some Beauties up for sale (at great prices)and some Awesome sellers!!! You will have a much better chance at a Brug that will bloom for you sooner..

Rene, I checked with my neighbor and he tossed all his cuttings that he took off already. I'm so sorry. Had I known sooner, I would have asked for them. Good luck with your purchase. Keep an eye at for cuttings on plant trading forum. May be there will be a few more people that might have cutting(s) for you.
