Favorite hybridizer?

Lyndonville, VT

Anyone have a favorite hybridizer, I think early on in my streps career it Thompson for me, doing some incredible things with streps. Ford is my close second, whos yours? Steve

Nancy Block is hot right now. She has introduced some called "dilutes".

Thompson's are my favorite streps. Love Dibley's too.

This is Purple Panda.......although my camera makes it looks blue, it actually is purple.
I got it as a tiny baby and put it in a 3 inch pot on Sept. 18th. Two months later look at that bloom head. Guess I should pot it up into a 4 inch.

Gold, what is a 'dilute'? I don't keep up on the new stuff like I should.

I have down a lot of the Dilute series but they are having trouble rooting like most strep leaves do. My favorite of all are the Ogelvees..........so strong and sturdy..........
Pretty Purple Panda.........I always like her!

What a gorgeous Purple Panda! I do like that one and have a starter of it in it's first bloom and love it. Yours is beautiful and well grown with that nice head of bloom. Great to see the potential of that variety.

Scroll down to Goody Two Shoes (Nancy Block) and you will see what is meant by "dilute".
