Is this in Los Angeles? I've never seen one in the bay area that lasted more then one summer planted outdoors. Other Mandevilla's yes,but just not this one.

Gee, I have no memory of taking this photo at all. But I bet it was here. I know not LA. I have had them live in pots a few years until I kill them with neglect. There is one growing up a trellis in San Leandro that has been there for years, I am always shocked to see it in almost constant flower.

On another topic..... I think this last winter was the warmest we have had in many years. So many of my big pots of petunias not only lived over winter, they are already huge and covered in blooms!

Do you have a street name for that plant in San Leandro? My brother used to live there many years ago. A good place for exotic plants. Every couple or three years I go and visit evergreen nursery and drive around the area. I was just thinking of going next week when warm returns. Thanks Kell.

It is a few blocks down on Lewelling from Washington on the right side. Now I have to look for it myself to make sure it is still there! LOL
