DayDreams
This is one of my favorite pink doubles! Love the look of fullness on her bottom skirt. Your first photo is beautiful Nadine!
Thank you, Dollie!!!..How did you do with this Ike mess???
Very Pretty..
I ran over mine with the mower..don't ask..LOL I was able to salvage some of it ..It had one lone Bloom when I brought it in . of course it dropped..LOL Maybe next yr..
I have 20 acres of grass you can feed to your lawnmower so it is too full to eat brugs. You just gotta learn to feed the mower better and not leave it feeling like it needs a snack.
LOLOLOL!!! I Should feed it better..
I am glad that we have that solved. No more mower probs next year now that you know the solution to the problem.
Unless it is an over achiever and then it can come do my 9 acres.
Question on Daydreams, when it blooms the first year is it normal to only have one skirt. I have 2 DD one is an older plant I believe and the one I'm not sure. The older one had all doubles and flushed twice. The loner as I call her only had 3 blooms and they were singles. Is it maybe not a DD?
In a word MESSY....It took me several weeks to get my Grannie's place back in order, still more to do in DeRidder at my GH, and my place in Rosepine only got a few plants broke & pots turned over. Glad everything is almost back to normal now.
Beautiful Nadine. I absolutely love Day Dreams. One gorgeous pink.
How is your clean up going Nadine. Mine is so slow but getting there. I am waiting on my Christmas Senna's seed pods to dry. I had her propped up but she did not stay up. It would be a shame to lose the ton of seed pods she has. I hate losing her to but sometimes it takes more than one or sometimes it just can't be brought back after that. She is blooming beautiful. She just won't stand. I have thought about cutting the top off and letting it go again and see if it will. But seeds first.
My fruitless pomegranate when it blew over it actually blew the front deeper into the ground. I am not sure it I can make it stand. My back is not holding up too well with the rest and to dig it loose then make stand I am not sure. One of my most favorite,
Oh well could have been worse I guess. My greenhouse (hoop house) half of the arch got smashed in. I can't get it back up myself. I will keep trying but don't think it wikk be much good this winter.
I hope this is our last one for 20+ years and not just 3 again.
Great picture.
Blessings,
Sandy
That is very neat and pretty color.
