Another to show you

Citra, FL

Got a lovely bloom today, just in time for the freezing weather. The plants are close to the house, so maybe they will be okay, with the heat of the building. I sure hope so, Ive got lots of buds.

Beautiful yellow.

Quite pretty. Your plants will be okay. Once it gets below 27 degrees, start worrying, but 38 is nothing for the babies. Just make sure you water them really well tomorrow, the water keeps their roots warm and cozy.

It will probably be close to 30 tonight. Im always colder here than at the airport; seems when everyone else is above freezing, my bird bath freezes. Im just in a cold pocket here.

Im whining already about this cold weather. How in the world did I stand it living up north? I think Ive just turned into a weenie since moving to FL.

Nice photo Kathy. You'll appreciate the cold/cooler weather when you see how it can dramatically change the colors in some of the Hibiscus varieties. The cold weather can dramatically deepen some of the colors.
