Morning all...slept until almost 9am, so still trying to wake up. I have a feeling this will be a wasted day here. Still chilly enough to want to curl up on the couch with blankets and the remote....and a couple cats, of course.
Spent the day yesterday making green tomato salsa to get rid of all the cherry tomatoes that I picked off the plants before the freeze. I covered up the regular tomatoes but didnt want to fuss with that volunteed plant that grew to enormous proportions and covered up 1/2 the garden. I ended up with 15 pints of salsa...now will probably still have more to make when I have to do something with the rest of the tomatoes out there if they dont hurry and ripen. DD just came over and relieved me of several jars of the salsa..she loves to use it in everything she cooks..
There sure have been a lot of sirens lately..we are under fire alert here cause its been so dry and then got very windy..but calmed down now so dont know whats up.
Promised DH an oatmeal cake last week and still have not made it, so better get busy with it today.
What is it with cats and printers? Tommy tried so hard to crawl inside mine one day, got the paper all jammed up and I had a heck of a time getting it working again..
