Loves lookout is just north of Jacksonville Tx. Its half way on the trips we make to pick up sweet potatoes, Appx 360 miles. Perfect place for a delightful rest stop:

Where is the final destination on the sweet tater run?
Meant to add, that's where the last east TX RU was held for Texas Daves Gardeners. To bad your timing was off, you could have met a bunch and swapped plants too. LOL
I live near the Lookout and it is a beautiful spot. They have many beautiful flower beds where they planted some of our extras from the spring RU. Now the fall colors are showing which is another nice view.
Hope we do the next spring RU there.

Yes it is a lovely place and we are planning the spring Ru there hopefully but no date set yet
