Is this Peanut or Daydream?

Alpharetta, GA(Zone 7b)

I received both Peanut and Daydream cutting earlier this year but miss labeled them. Here are the flower pictures. My research on the web is inconclusive. Can some expert ID if this Peanut or Daydream? Thank you.

This is DayDreams from the Brugmansia Register:

Unfortunately, the Register does not have a photo of Peanut. I tried getting a photo from "that other place" but am having login problems. So here's the link to the photos in the PlantFiles:

DayDreams parents are Fandango X Rubirosa. Rubirosa's parents are Ecuador Pink X Rothkirch.
Peanut's parents are Kleine Lady X (Ecuador Pink X Rothkirch).
Parentage on the pollen parent's side is identical, one generation removed. So these two are going to look very similar. It is difficult to base identification solely on the blooms. To be on the safe side, you should allow the other Brug plant to bloom. Maybe have several flushes as bloom intensity can vary from flush to flush. However looking at the shape of the corolla of your Brug and comparing it to those of on the above links. DayDreams' corolla tube appears to be slimmer and only gradually gets a bit wider as it nears the skirts. Peanut, on the other hand, is chunkier and widens just beyond the calx. At also appears shorter, but that may be an optical illusion.

My guess is that your Brug is DayDreams.

I have a little different opinion.I would guess that that is a very light example of Peanut.
For me Daydreams is very near that color but has more seperated skirts.Peanut is generally darker but has a more "stuffed" appearance with much less skirt seperation.
Those are the characteristics I see in my plants but the same cultivars differ widely
with changes in soil and temperature so the cop out is...it could be either.

Beautiful no matter who it is!!

My first thought was peanut too because of the stuffed skirt. I have seen alot of variations on other people's pics of DD though. Some people's seem to get darker and fluffier and prob depends alot on the time of year etc.
My DD are all blooming right now and are more separated. I guess we won't ever know for sure lol.
My peanut doesn't grow as fast as the DD either. I agree it is really pretty no matter what it is.

One way to tell which it is would be to hit the blooms with both Daydream and Peanut pollen. Using separate blooms of course for each test. If you get a pod with Peanut pollen then you have Daydreams. If a pod forms with a bloom that has been pollinated with Daydreams pollen then you have Peanut. It's just that simple. At least you have it narrowed down to only two choices.

Wow even so many brug experts have different opinion about it. If I ever get another positive ID on and compare the blooms I might have a better idea. Pictures can be bit miss leading due to various day/time/light condition taking the pictures. Thank you all for the responses!

Great advice on using pollination ability to narrow it down. You guys are going to get so many questions from me next year when I have my first brugs growing. I am learning from everyone and trying to learn from others mistakes like losing ID tags or getting them mixed up. I am trying right now to keep them labeled but out in the yard will be the real challenge. How are you all meeting this challenge?

It looks like DD to me. The large flowers, the deep spaces between the tendrils. Normally DD is a beautiful double, where the skirts are seperated, but at this time of the year the two skirts tends to be stuffed within the flower.
