This puppy along with another one came wandering into my yard this morning. He is very friendly but tiny, not much bigger than my DH's size 10 shoe. We called the neighbors but no one knows where he belongs so if we don't find the owner he will be staying. I just need some advice if anyone can help?
He ate some dog food and drank from a bowl, but he is so small, do you think he still needs milk?
Will a vet be able to tell if he's had any shots? I'd hate for him to get them all over again if he's had them already. We have to travel to my daughters this coming weekend and she has two dogs and two cats so if we have to take him I want to make sure he won't get her dogs sick, I'm going to see if I can find a vet tomorrow.
I couldn't get the other puppy to come to me, he ran off and we are in the middle of over 200 acres of woods so there's no way to even start to look for him/her. The little guy that stayed seems pretty happy to be here, he is following my DH around right now as he makes him a cozy little bed in the garage. Can't let him in the house because my old cat will try to kill him, she is already unhappy because I smell like dog.
