Gosh, I still need my first one. LOL

It's been on my wish list ever since Geoff posted the first images! I have never seen one up here either. My solid one is doing fabulous, already potted up to the next size.
I think we need a road trip Kell.

That is for sure Sue!

I was careless w/ mine and it did not survive a freeze. It is hardy but plant was too little; needed protection. Bad mommie!

For shame on you, Nery! Where did you get yours?

I got it at a nursery callled Martha's Bloomers, Navasota, TX, a town about 45 min. from houston. A cutesy nursery with a tea room. They are notorious for having special/rare plants for next to nothing. I think I paid under $10 for mine two yrs ago. They are not a cheap place, I think it is more a matter of them not necessarily knowing what they have in their hands sometimes. I think they buy special lots and once they're gone, they're gone. I've never again seen that plant at this nursery, or anywhere else in houston, for that matter.

PS: If you called them asking for this plant, I can almost bet they wouldn't know what in the world you're talking about. Don't get me wrong, I give this nursery very good marks, nothwithstanding the above comment. They have a great selection of natives, mini AVs and all kinds of garden doodads. I really like this place.
