Yet Unamed Variegated Brugmansia

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

This is a sport of Greenbank and the "sport mother" of 'SubLime'.
At first I was not going to keep it. But the scallops with white at the edges is nice.
I will get a better photo later today.

Is Greenbank a sport of Snowbank or the other way round? Does this mean there is genetic instability in the parent plant? I wonder what else will crop up? Interesting to find out. Do you have a photo of the leaves?

I've never seen blooms on my Snowbank. I grow it for the foliage which I love. I like variegated plants of all sorts.

I have never had luck with any of the variegated varieties here in south florida. Probably just me. They're pretty to look at but I trashed all of mine.

I am just starting out with brugs and have a feeling that it will be hard to control. My first thought was "THAT is trash?? What must the keepers look like --- WOW" I really like the leaves too. It looks like it is touched with fairy frost. I have this disneyesque mental image of a tinkerbell like fairy with a wand flitting around the plant and ever so gently touching the edges. Thank you for sharing the pic with us.

Thanks.
I near tossed it. But then I let it grow out to see what it did.
And what do you know, SubLime sported from one of it's branches.
I thought I lost where it sported in last year's winter kill.
But it branched out again and still sporting along ..lol

I'm with Tetley, that's trash? I think she and her foliage are keepers. I'm new to brugs too and I think they all are beautiful.

Love it's dainty pattern.

I'm glad you kept it. I think the border variegation is pretty and unusual. It does have a 'scalloped' look to it.

I agree. I really love the white edging of the leaves. This one is most likely more sun tolerant than a lot of the other variegated ones. I love variegated leaves but have difficulty with them due to the high intensity of sun I have here.

I think it is Very Pretty!! Love the dark contrast to the minimal cream edging..How long does the flower last? Does it have a scent?
