Well, on and off, I am. DH hates it when I just sit in here and play on the computer.

I'm such a geek, I created an excel graph last night of my chickens egg laying pattern. ha!

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was great, lounged around a bunch and all three of my girls are finally laying!!!

I'm here. Still recovering from all the furniture moving and cleaning and sneezing. That bed had not been moved in 100 years i swear. Love the new bed.

Congrats on all the future eggs and i have had a good weekend nothing in the chicken department.
But in my case thats a good thing *No Pox*.
Just been checking in from time to time and noticed how quiet the forum was.
My son complains about doing graphs and charts in school i have some file's on my birds but keep most of my latest goings on wrote on a big antique chalk board at my shed.
Got it for $2 at a church sale they were remolding the sunday school rooms and had taken down the black board.

Hello Wren so you have a new bed and been doing some cleaning.
I would be afraid to look under my bed there could be something growing under there LOL!

I grow dust bunnies under my bed.

They where very large dust bunnies under there. My room is small and with the bookcases and craft stuff there was no way to move the bed. The last time was when I get the last new mattress and that was around ten years or so ago.
We also moved my DM's bed the frame of which was originally a water bed frame. That thing has heavy even with taking it apart.

I spent the day with 2 of my daughters. Had a wonderful time

That is great. Mom and I just had a quit day. Next 3 day are doctor appointments and screaming at people on the phone.

Went and had a little ice cream but i spent the day with my DH and Son they both work and my son go's to school. So we have not so much quality time weekdays and saturdays are spent trying to catch up what they missed out on all week. Sunday i declared that family day and we always have dinner and watch nascar or a movie and catch up.

Same here, every other sunday is family day. All the kids are grown and have their own lives so it is every other sunday for us. Just 2 daughters today.

Sounds good. Just DM and I in this house now. My DS is up in Dallas, Ga and even thought my DB lives not to far from us we rarely see him.

Sunday as family day dates back as far as my great grand parents and probaly beyond we always before they passed either had dinner with my family or my husbands.
His mother is in her 80s now and his dad is gone both my parents have passed over so it's just us on sunday now.

i'm here getting ready for babies soon. got 44 eggs moved to the hatcher today!! got seramas, silkie, showgirls gonna hatch and not sure what else,lol.

All i have is 2 eggs under my Diamonds and the rest of my flock is idle just eating and waiting on spring.

I miss the big family git togethers. Both my grandmothers are go. My grandfather one passed before I was born and the other 2 years after. My family get to big and some of them get to strange.

Good luck with the eggs. I will be there cheering them on.

Sundays are our typical family days. We get so stinkin busy during the week and even on Saturdays, that Sunday is our day to just do whatever we want -- as a family.

Anybody still there? I'm finally in from all the outdoor work this weekend, and then in the shop when it got dark. I worked a lot on a new chicken coop. I also built a nest box for one of my pigeon pairs. I helped Kelly with a goat shelter. It's been a long weekend!

Yes, along with continuing to make coats for those poor featherless girls! It has been a whirlwind weekend - I need at least 3 more days to get everything done!

I know the feeling Claire. I have Tuesday off -- Vetran's Day -- and I'm kicking myself for not taking Monday off too. How ridiculous... I have to go to work tomorrow then have a day off again.

*cough, cough*

Maybe I'm coming down with a cold or something...

Better go have a little lie-down. Take some medication (hot toddy). Perhaps you need a day to recover. Don't want to push your luck by going back to work too soon....

No worries on that one. All kinds of thoughts run through my head as I'm dragging my tired carcass out of bed in the morning, but I *usually* make it anyway. ;-)
