Checking in...

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi everyone!!!!! I miss talking with you wonderful people!!! oh so much has happened... that I need to update you guys!!!! wonderful things are happening! yay!!!!

After much thinking I finally quit my job at SMOC as the Program Coordinator for the Home Modification Loan Program for people with disabilities ... oh I cryed and cryed!!! after 11 years working with absolutely wonderful people...
But I was having serious emotional problems!!! every time one of my subscriptions of RN Magazine, or Nursing 2008 arrived I got really sad and missed nursing so much! so one day I realized that I was never going to hate my job enough to leave or be sick and tired of my friends at work to say good bye... so I started looking for job as a nurse and was on my way to a job fair in Boston when I decided to call Lahey Clinic to see if they had any openings on the floor I was working and needless to say I never made it to the job fair because I was offered my old job! so this past week I started my career as a nurse 100%... I am SOOOOO happy... having sooo much fun... so much that the commute is not bothering me as much as it did before... I am going to be working 2 days 7am -7pm and 2 evenings 3-11 ... perfect because I get to work with everyone I love... oh I love my colleagues... actually I never really forgot them or let them forget me! lol...
What a warm reception I had... and they are happy to have me back... so even if I had to get up really early all week I was still happy on Friday! I actually learned a lot this week and I already had 4 patients last Friday... I still have a preceptor for another 5 weeks or more if I feel I need it, but other than that pretty much I am a nurse! yay!!!!!

So the other good news is that my job will not going to interfere with gardening... I will have at least one day off during the week!!!! so sweet... and the weekends I have to work evenings so I have the day to garden.... perfect for me!!!! you know I have certain priorities...

The family is ok... the nephews are still so cute and healty... mom is also good... and things are going well right now!!!

ah, I got a shed... built in just for me... so cute... and a 3 way system compost bin... oh I am so happy about that... I will post pics later today... I am dying to go outside and garden later... but it's raining so I am not sure what is going to be today...

Last sunday I went to tower hill with Deb (taberlin) for the Orchid show... oh my goodness I took 300 pics... and left the place with 2 orchids... the first ones... oh it's so Deb's fault!!! lol... so I will post some pics here... I really loved it... they are gorgeous plants... no I am not getting any more... they are more expensive than roses...

Hi everyone... finally I have pics... my family is teasing me... they all said that my shed looks more like a doll house than a shed... lol... and the boys want my little house... that's how they are calling it... Auntie kassia's little house... well, my mom does not want me to put certain things there because is so cute... can't believe it...

I'm so jealous of your compost bins, the shed is great but those bins WOW.
Houses are too close and landscapeing doesn't let us build anything where it wount show.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Very nice, Kass!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Oh Kassia! Anna and I are so happy for you. You sound happy, content, and thrilled to death! I love your little garden shed. One day I'm sure you will have some window boxes fashioned for the front. Won't that look so cute?

I'm glad to hear from you.

Craryville, NY

Kassia: A dream come true for you! They DO say to "follow your bliss", and look where it led you! Fabulous orchids...now, all you need is those lottery numbers and life will be MORE than divine! Glad to hear good tidings! Blessings!

The orchids are absolutely gorgeous. I love all the different colors and shapes, even if they look like aliens.

The last (orange) one I would call Full Bladder.

Kassia, you can always join us over on the Orchids forum to discuss your new purchases, and maybe even get some IDs.
