Here are a few oldies blooming today. They have just come in from their summer outside.Every time i start to get rid of these I back out. This is Becca Lynn.
Oldies but goodies
Amen. And it's a shame that you don't hear of many these days, everyone seems to want the latest doubles and darkest pinks.
It would be fun to do a poll and find out how many still grow them. It would certainly be sad to lose some of them entirely--heck, they could go extict! I know I have a lot of golden oldies, just wish we could break our drought here in GA :(
I still have:
Butterfly
Charles Grimaldi
Cypress Gardens
Dr Seuss
Gypsy Queen
Island Girl
KBS
Pink Beauty
Rosabelle
Rosamond
Valley Misty Pink
Whiskers
to name a few...
I remember when Whiskers was quite the rage. My favorite old shot of her:
For 2 years Island girl has been the most requested plant on my trade list. The next is Apricot Moon flower. Lots of people still love the oldies... Eternity is still my fav!
Caren
Pink Beauty and Isabella are my favorites, and also still have whiskers, Rosamond, Island Girl, Ecuador pink and versi peach. They never let me down.
Tonny,how is the book going?
Rosamond is one of my all time favs. She is planted by my front door :) She is such a great bloomer.
