Sizzle Swap anyone????

Cave Creek, AZ

After some study and a lot of thought I have decided on a new direction with my Sizzles and here is my idea. For those of you raising or planning on raising Sizzles, I would like to propose some swapping among the community to promote the development of our favorite little "muppets" and to expand our gene pools. We are fairly early in our development and so, to help promote our birds and bringing in some other lines to help that development this is my offer.

I have three smooth roos and 6 - 10 hens of various feather types I am willing to trade. I raise blues, blacks & splash and most of the birds are third generation. I will give their backgrounds and pics to anyone interested. You will pay shipping only. My lines have good feet but, my crests need work. I would be interested in Silkie/Cochin or Silkie/Polish crosses but, would love to see anything anyone has. If I have enough birds I would even be willing to give a few to folks who are serious but, haven't got anything to trade yet, for birds back in the future.

It is my hope to promote the breeding and development of Sizzles and to encourage others to do the same.

So...anyone interested?

I to wish you good luck, I have just started and I am selling off all the polish, just not the birds I want. I have not decided on the silkies yet. Frizzles may go also. I wish I could help ya.

Hi Sarah,
have some silkieXpolish. One cockerel is dun, another is blue. I'll have to look and see if I have any girls. The blue boy has an awesome crest. And since I'm nearby, no shipping needed:) I also have some silkieXcochins. So, are you interested in swapping some?

Are you going to the Tucson Show? (Thanksgiving weekend (Saturday/Sunday) at the Pima County Fairgrounds). I know that folks would LOVE seeing some sizzles--entry fee is only $2 per bird, and it is a lot of fun. It's a State Meet for the American SIlkie Bantam Club, which I have been meaning to pester you to join :)

Some of the cochin or polish breeders at the show may be interested.

Hey Suze, great to hear from you!
Yes, absolutely I would be interested in trading, especially for tha blue boy who sounds like just what I've been looking for. Althought most of what I was considering trading are black, I'm only seriously attatched to a few of them so, I'm open to what ever we can woprk out. And I'm SO glad your close! Makes life sooo much easier! Send me a # privately & all call to set up a meet.

As for the Show, while I haven't gotten into showing and don't really expect to, I'm certain I could learn lots there. Especially if I could hang out and bother you with dumb questions occassionally! Hummm...will have to think on that. Where would I find out more information please?

Looking forward to meeting you!
