Hi tuinkabouter....I have seeds of ocimum gratissimum/ East Indian Clove Basil and just a small amount of ocimum sanctum/ Holy Basil....would trade for your echium pininana or asclepias syriaca. Do you need any more seed of the podranea?

i have plenty of the Cinn Basil ... I'll tag it for you.
some is dated 2003, but that is the seed i used this year, and it germinated,
but i have all the seeds from this year too.

I have cinn. basil seeds but all I have seem to have crossed with a local basil (curly leaf) and none comes back as true to the cinn. PS the curly leaf grows much as a weed here in Talihina OK Hope I got the right pic if not will correct it later
Curly leaf / cinamon basil crosses would do nicely as well! What would you like to get in return?
I have plenty of Holy Basil/Tulsi.. collected seed today..

I may have just a few extra seeds of some other varieties also... I'll check my stash when I get a chance, and whichever ones you want to try I'll send along. Some are older, but I've gotten 5 year old basil seeds to germinate... and even a couple of plants can mean lots more next cycle if you let them to go seed. :-)

Tuinkabouter, your holy basil seeds are in the mail. I hope they reach you. When I was a youngster I got a shortwave radio for my birthday. Radio Nederland was my favorite station. I learned to appreciate classical music from there.

Italian Genovese (2007, my very favorite for pesto & culinary use)
Sicilian (2008, similar to above but without the anise note)
Hot & Spicy Sumatran
Mix of Lemon and Lime basils (2007, you'll be able to tell them apart from the scent & flavor!)
Spicy Globe (2006) taller than it "should" be but small leafed
Cameo (2007, compact plants with regular sized leaves)
Windowbox (2007, compact small leafed variety from Renee's Garden)
Thai 'Siam Queen' (2007)
Purple Basil -- 2006, probably Violetto, might be Red Bordeaux
