Wonderful pics gp! That must really be a sight!

Melbourne, FL

Thanks, guys....they are up and down the streets fairly often, going from yard to yard.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Love the ibis pic GP. thanks for sharing.

PERTH, Australia

Great show GP. Lucky you, they're aerating and fertilizing the lawn as they eat insects. Perfect.

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Wow GP...I would love to have these beauties in my yard..too cool!

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

This morning a flock of at least twenty White Ibis walked around the yard and every one of them was a youngster!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

That would be neat to see out the window!!

Linthicum Heights, MD(Zone 7a)

Nice photos, GP. I've only ever photographed one immature White Ibis here in Maryland. Great to see a nice flock of them.

What great shots, GP. It must have been a sight to behold.

Melbourne, FL

I had my macro camera with me when I spotted them....I hoped they would still be there when I returned with my 300mm, and they were. They hung around for about fifteen minutes. Thank you, Margaret.

PERTH, Australia

You'd wonder why they would choose to perch on something so relatively narrow with those great big feet. It can't have been easy for them.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Now that is an awesome sight!!

Marlton, NJ

Very cool GP!

Melbourne, FL

Does seem silly perching on something like that...they were having some trouble maintaining balance. Maybe wisdom does come with age;) Thanks everyone.

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Awesome shots GP...I can't imagine seeing something like these birds!

Florence, MS(Zone 8b)

This is the closest I have been to ibis. This was with a 300mm lens.
