(dana)Owensboro, KY(Zone 6a)

the plants are creeping thyme , a small fern and some tropical foliage plants , mini sinningia in the 2 pots by the bench and sedum in the 3 pots . there is a fairy fountain that works , the batteries died though. that rose is in a little pitcher and it is sunset celebration . the pathway is made out of small shells . i couldnt get a good pic because the camera dosnt like taking pics through glass.

how pretty. where did you get the little pots? I see a lot of fish tanks being given away on freecycle, so for those that are interested, do ck craigslist.

i got the pots at hobby lobby , there were tiny ceramic and wood pots in the department with wood parts and also in the dollhouse section . thats where i got the bench too . they also had lots of glass jars, bowls and things with lids good for terrariums .

I think the best part of making these tiny gardens is the oppor. to use your imagination, converting things into other things for these garden. The pots in my little garden were actually candle holders. I think a child's glass marble would make such an excellent gazing ball, y'all get the pic, I'm sure.

oh i like the gazing ball idea . you could make a wire frame out of bead wire . dh made an arbor for it out of that wire . maybe ill commission him to do that .

see? that's what I'm talking about. gets your mind going, great mental exercise, if you ask me.

I have a really wonderful gazing ball for one of my Fairies. I bought it at a huge art show in July. It was expensive, but it is gorgeous. Pretty large.
