What are the 2 spotted aloe, PalmBob? They are beautiful!

In your yard? They are both so perfect.

yes... getting very crowded... aloe greenii is becoming a weed and it is nearly 3' in diameter... and razor sharp

I wish my weeds looked so good! LOL It would look great in some fancy pot as a focal point. I find aloes are really looking so attractive to me.

i have far too many 'focal points' i'm afraid.... there literally is no room in my entire yard for another pot other than my roof... and though i've often considered putting pots up there it's a pitched roof and hard to get to water stuff... plus i can't really see my plants up there then....

But that is why you build a patio on the roof first! Takes care of the pitchiness!

Years ago we rented the top floor apartment in a 2 story house. I could access the roof of the roof portico out of a window. It had a small railing around it. I covered the roof and the railing with plants. I ran a hose up from the driveway to water.

The year after we moved, the whole portico fell down! I guess it did not like to be constantly wet. And to think I could have been out there when it came down.

I am out of room too. I filled my side of the driveway up 3 years ago! Last year much to my husband's chagrin, I filled his side up, the last empty space! He has stopped chastising me about it too. Though in a few more weeks he may start up again as spring hits hard and I start bring in seasonal color by the car full.
