Got my Chicks vaccinated

Today i redid the no takes i had about 7 and then i vaccinated the hens and roo who were exposed but didn't come down with it.
I did my 7 week old chicks and they screamed and screamed and i felt so bad and i did the new wheaton hen i just bought.
So the only ones left are the ones still fighting it my white face black spanish and they are improveing slowly.
All the others that had it have comepletely recovered and show no ill effects except the one hen that the pox just ate up the top of her comb.
All seem to be happy but are hateing the cold i wish i had a great big heated chicken house to put them all in i see those abandoned and think if i had that i could really have some chickens.

Oh i left out my itty bitty's in my opinion they are just to little and will wait awhile to vaccinate those.

I'm glad your nightmare is almost a distant memory! What a terrible time you had. Poor screamin babiez.. I would probably cry. LOL

So glad to hear almost everybody is vaccinated now. Poor little babies - just like taking kids to the doctor to get their vaccinations. They always cry, right? I sure would love to see a picture of your itty bitty blue babies these days!

My hens have begun to lay i hope this means they will have a egg cycle now and then again in jan or feb so i can load up my bater.

Oh gosh yes about kids, my daughter MADE me go in with my GS when he got his shots, that baby looked at me like HOW COULD YOU LET THEM DO THAT TO ME I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME. So when he got his shots to start school, I talked to him about it and told him it would hurt but not to long and he NEEDED them so he could be a big healthy boy that goes to school. He did fine.

It broke my heart when mine got theirs and looked at me like why are you doing this to me.
