I bought guinea eggs from ebay and Thursday is the eggspected hatch date. I took them off the turner tonight and one is already cracked and peeping is coming from inside!!! Only three are left in the incubator from the twelve I got. The rest had blood rings way early on. I am very eggcited. Also had one chicken egg hatch on Thursday cause of course we added a couple from our eggs. We call the one that hatched Mcnugget. So cute! Fuzzychicken (my neice) will be so eggcited when she gets home from school tomorrow!!! I am sure my son will tell her at school since it is to late to call her tonight. Maybe it will hatch over night?.
Guinea egg hatching
Isn't it fun! I had twenty chicks hatch this weekend--but I've never hatched a guinea. I wish my sons were still small and at home.
I'm still afraid to hatch eggs again. I had a very BAD "eggsperience" in my classroom with hatching. :(
I guess I'm still "chicken"......ok, I'll stop now.... :)

welcome, i have not seen u post before, glad to have ya with us. don't give up we all loose them for one reason or another here and there it's part of hatching and mother nature. do u have a incubator? u d-mail me what bator u have and explain to me what happened and i will gladly walk u through it and help u so u know what went wrong and how to adjust to fix things. please don't give up and continue to give it a try.
i'm a mom to 5 and there is nothing more educational than children watching hatching eggs incubated and the miracle of life!
