A friend sent me the following link which I thought might be of interest here. Please don't beat me up about GMO issues, just want to share an interesting article with the group. I haven't actually made up my mind on the issue.

New tomatoes coming
I am growing them right now and will be posting results on the "SELF Contained Box thread.!" Seeds originated with Oregon State University.
I found that article very interesting. Tplant, where does a person find these seeds?
I got mine from Byndweedbeth directly form OSU. Do not know if they are available to all?
Dann_L, Beth posted earlier this month in her original thread that she has more seeds available now. The ones she provided for us are spliced with an blueberry gene as opposed to a snap dragon gene like the ones in the above-mentioned article.
I grew them out this summer (have a pile of them here on the counter as I type!)
You might enjoy growing them. I'd recommend though that even though there is a small percentage of cross-pollination with tomatoes you isolate these from your other tomatoes to help prevent any crossing.
