I dropped my mag light down the middle of a roll of paper towels.. Instant Candler!! Works great for large eggs.. The small ones would fall through.. but I've got some big ones that fit perfect..
I'd think you could put a lil cardboard disk on top with a smaller hole for the bantams.

My son made one for the Serama eggs out of a large dixie cup...cut a hole at the end for the egg and put the mag lite in from the other end.

I'm gonna make me one out of a black sewer pipe.. LOL I want to make "lids" that are changeable so I can sit the egg on it.. I like the great view..

That's the fun part! I love creating.. figuring.. using old stuff that doesn't look toooo unsightly.. There is nothing pretty about a sewer pipe.. but at least it's inside! LOL Maby I'll build a pretty box for it out of some nice wood..
