i took a tour of the garden this morning and i noticed that my dr.suess , it had looked 'wimpy' all summer, now looked dead.
so i put down my coffee cup to get underneath for a close-up look. it seems when the contractor cleaned the concrete truck, they let the leftover mix run smack dab on top of this plant and i didn't notice.
it's a goner, i so loved that color. does anyone have a cutting they would like to trade? i can offer a cutting of painted lady, adeline or new orleans lady in return.

I have an extra Dr. Seuss plant. In the spring I will have two cuttings. Right now my standard has two small shoots coming up from the soil that I have been reluctant to cut right now so I was going to wait until they are more mature.
