Alice, she is beautiful!!! Was the frost responsible for the brown looking calces?

Just to wonderful for words, great going Alice what is the parentage? This is one i have to have!!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Loverly!! Great color and I would never complain about getting a triple, only that I can't seem to get one to grow. LOL! Another beauty, Alice.

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

wow that one is so beautiful I really love the doubles and triples

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

What a gorgeous brug!!! ♥

A real stunner!

How is the pollen on this one? Is she a good parent both ways? This one might make a good cross with Lagenbuscher Garten if you didn't mind culling the majority of your seedlings. Still, I'm betting the orange would come out a lot better...or for an easier cross.... Goldenes Kornett or Bernstein. One more question, does she grow fast, slow,... fragrance....? I love the oranges, but I have noticed that some of the best oranges seem to have a bit of yellow in them that rears its head when you least expect it.

I like this one, the bloom is unusual and that makes this one special..again, congratulations and I am glad you showed her to me...

October also seems to have a fair bit of substance, at least from what I can see in the picture, another good trait for a breeder. We need more quality oranges like this. Well said joeswife.

This cross is my Halloween and Monika's cross I grew and named 'Edna'.
I plant to cross it this weekend. Any suggestions are appeciated.
Renee's Mountain Harvest is in bloom right now here, also .. I was thinking to try both ways as it has a special deep orange.

Suggestions are just so not worth mentioning other than to name a few you may or may not have as the grower of so many nice Brugmansia such as yourself is able to pick out those differences in person that makes picking that much easier. I definitely like the idea of October x Halloween as well as Halloween x October. You stand to bring out those orange genes a bit more and possibly find some hidden traits as well. For me, trying to get an elusive Cubensis double phenotype might be well worth the trouble especially with those orange genes and your Cubensis genotype already in the mix. Pumpkin might be another one worth considering as well. There are just so many good ones to pick from and so many you have to grow to appreciate the differences of fully. Goldenes Kornett harbors orange as well as yellow genes, but that might entail you growing out more than you wish to get that one special dark orange unless you don't mind a few yellows and lighter oranges in the mix. Still, as this one appears to have a heavy load of versicolor genes it might be nice to bring back in some heavier pure aurea genes. I'm thinking that the form's you might achieve from such a cross would be well worth it even if it set you back a step in your quest for darker oranges. Still, Langenbuscher Garten, if you had that one.... lol, you know I love to ramble too much sometimes. I can't wait to get back to the States to see some of these creations up close and personal. I have to ask one more question, is Lucifer hiding any orange genes?
