I know it's coming up in the next week or so, any idea when the best day to cut hair to encourage growth will be?
Thanks

Best day to cut hair to encourage growth?
I had always heard it was during a full moon...

Thanks
I totally forgot I posted this, I stopped being lazy and took some time to figure it out myself. *S*
For November it's the 8th, 9th, and 12th
12th starts full moon... :-)
I'm enjoying that website!
Hmmm...thank you. :-)
OK dovey, now you've got me curious - are there days that are good for cutting your hair if you DON'T want it to grow faster? I know this may sound nuts, but in the summer I like to keep my hair short and running to have it trimmed every 4 weeks is a pain :-) ....and logic says it should be during a waning moon....
Robin
Cut for fast growth during the waxing moon, and to keep it short in the waning. Just like mowing.
yep.... waxing and waning moons. Also there are more and less fertile signs during the moon phase you can hook up with.
Just about any day, while the moon is waning, that says "destroy weeds" is a good day to cut hair to discourage growth.
(What's that you saying about my hair, dovey?)
;}
*LOL*
Some weeds are totally beautiful

Perhaps I should have said look for the days that say "Prune to discourage growth"
Perfect choice dovey :-> My sis and I disagree as to whether that's a weed or a welcome addition to a large garden! In my small garden it's a weed...
What kind of weed/flower is that?
I thought it was pretty too.
Every spring our lawn is splashed with beautiful patches of wild violets, I love them, but many people view them as the bane of their garden.
Looks like spiderwort...
Confession time -- yes, I have been known to mow around a solitary "weed" in the front yard because it's beautiful.
spiderwort, isn't that a useful weed/herb?
brig, I also mow around the violet patches, to me it looks like the cover of a magazine
I love spiderwort and had several colors of it at the edge of my shady garden area before I moved. In some places it is an invasive weed but never where I have lived.
Yep, spiderwort. It looks great in my sis's garden, but absolutely takes over like creeping charlie in mine.
