a new kitty!
Ok, long story short (or atleast I'll try): Paul's friend from college, Heather, her two grandparents were "cat people," gram passed away last year, grampa just passed away 2 months ago...Heather's mom, Linda, lives in NJ, and has been coming back to Scranton to take care of the animals (5 inside kitties, and 1 outside kitty). Linda was toying with the idea of selling her NJ home, and moving back here, but decided not to. The 5 inside kitties are described as being "spawns of Satan," and would not leave the poor outside kitty inside...they beat her up all the time and stole her food. Linda asked Paul, via Heather, if he would be interested in outside kitty. Paul sort of asked me, and I was like sure, why not. My only concern was Ivy, our Abby (because she is, IMO, evil toward other animals!) Well, a week ago Paul brought Doofus home...Doofus is the outside cats name, not a knickname of mine (that I'm aware of...lol)...
Doofus weighs about 12lbs or so, she is up to date on her shots and altered. She is the most laid back animal I have ever met, almost as laid back as our Komondor, Theta. First time meeting me, I was able to scoop her up, flip her on her back and pet her cute, fluffy, and ample belly!
