Couldn't find my pigeon thread (new Pics)

(Zone 7b)

My baby pigeons are 4 weeks old and eating on their own and their parents still feed them too. The pictures are different because at this age they climb me and want to sit on my shoulder.

The pics a little fuzzy it's hard to get them to be still this is baby "Peace"

Wow, look at the colors on Peace now. It is so distinct to see the peach (is it called peach?) now. Just looks like an adult! I can't believe how fast he feathered out. The baby dove is so tiny - it looks smaller than some of the others. Either that or your hand grew really big in the last couple of weeks! LOL! I really like the brown wing one too.

It's too bad that you are going to sell all your pigeons, they are so pretty.

Claire i was just pulling your leg about me selling them how could i sell something that i enjoy so much.
Thats why if it was okay to do it here i would over load this forum with pics of all my animals you haven't even seen bradley or june bug ^_^

Oh my word, you had me hook, line and sinker!!! I totally believed you! You are a rascal!!

Bradley is adorable. He looks like a mini rex or maybe full size rex - hard to tell the scale in that photo. Just a sweetie. Same with Honey Bunny.

I had a dwarf rabbit for 14 years - bought her at a pet store back in the day when there were no rabbits in shelters. She was a little baby when I got her. She lived with me all through my 9 years of university moving from one place to another and always was litter trained and free run. Then when she was about 12 she got a cataract in one eye. She began to slow down a little but she was still a fun and frisky girl. Then she got a cataract in the other eye at 13 and she didn't like to run around because she would bump into things. I set her up in a generous rabbit cage and kept everything in the same place all the time and she stayed in there for another year and a bit and every single morning she would get her raisin from me and she would nearly leap out of the cage into my arms. She loved to be cuddled and she would lick the inside of my elbow. She got bad arthritis at the end and had trouble standing up by herself and that is when I knew it was time. It was a very difficult day but she lived to a very ripe old age for a rabbit. She was such a dear. I will have to post a photo of her from home.

Thumper again. She was so special to me. I've never had another rabbit after that but maybe I will one day.
