we've grown Pac Choy in less than four weeks and now have Broccoli, Collards and lettuce growing. We plan to expand in the spring. I'm sure spinach and any other vegetable crop will grow in these. We're developed our own growing mix as each plant has it's own needs, such as Tomatoes that need dolomite. I'm also expanding to flowers and trees in mine. Future gardening? I think so.

I would imagine 6 to 8 per EB but I've never grow them?
I'm sure you can grow 8 in a 20 gal container. There are charts on various EB websites. Sorry I don't have them, but we explored all sites we could find in building and planting them. These were great and I plan to plant my whole garden in them next spring.
