I have some seeds from my Mothers Clerodendrum grove. The originals came from some of the most lovely fragrant trees near an old historic section of my city (near Old Salem). The lot was unfortunately cleared for a parking lot 2 months after I obtained a few small baby trees. My mom now has a nice grove that smells so wonderful ea ?summer I think, 2 seed pods will be sent for every SASE submitted to me. Apparently some people keep theirs trimmed back like a Bonsai and use in a hanging pot. I like using as a shrub or small tree. birds like them also.

What type of Clerodendrum is it BirdieBlue? Do you have a photo you could post?
Chantell,
It should be hardy. I am in 7a also! They have survived 20+ years!
