Per my earlier email about this puppy, he still need a good home. I will have to give him to an animal rescue shelter on Monday if no one I know (or someone they recommend) doesn't take him home by then. He is a really great dog, and would make a wonderful companion.........

Karen rescued this beautiful Argentinean Dojo (he is definitely not a pit bull) puppy running loose trying to cross US1 at SW 184th St. in Perrine . The dog has no collar, no tags, and a vet checked and no chip. He is approximately nine months old, white with a distinctive marking. He has definitely had some training, because he sits on command, comes when you call him, and does his business on newspapers you put on the floor.

He is, of course, full of energy, and loves to run. He is very friendly and affectionate to everyone, and can be a lap dog if you let him. He's good around big kids, and it's anybody's guess who would get tired first. The vet says he is about three quarters grown.



I have put fliers all around the area she found him. I placed a “found dog” ad last weekend in the Herald but got no response. If I did not already have a house full of animals I would definitely keep this dog. I was also told that he appears to be a purebred and is quite expensive to buy.


If I don't get any calls on him this weekend I will be forced to take him to the Humane Society or the animal adoption group. I would feel much better knowing that he was going to a good home with room for him to run and play with someone who cares for him. This is really a great dog.
