pork chops and applies

Rutland , MA(Zone 5b)

a co-worker gave me this recipe and i am going to make it tonight for dinner but it sounded so good i thought i would post it anyway.

lightly brown 5 bone in pork chops in oil. its better to use the end cut as they have a little more fat on them which will give more flavour to the juice.

in a large bowl cut the applies into 1/4 inch slices. the best applies are the ones you use for baking. add enought sugar and cinnimun to coat the applies and mix well.

in an oven proof pot put the applies on the bottom of the pan and then the pork chops. cook uncovered for about one hour until the applies are soft and the juice is sweet.

will let you know how they turned out tomorrow morning.
