Opening those two large boxes was like Christmas! Thank you for sharing with me Ginger!
GingerH sent me 4 brugs, 2 had blooms! I potted, thinking the blooms would drop off in a day or so......but instead they bloomed out. Photo is Apricot Smoothie.....love the green tint in her blooms, and she smells wonderful!
Look What Ginger Sent Me!!
Congrats, Dollie. It's nice that people enjoy sharing with each other.
Another photo of same brug.....Don't recall the name, will check tag. I've already tried pollinating this one.
I agree, it is so nice when others share with you. It really lifts your spirit! Just this week Christa sent me Fascination & Sacajawea, both BIG plants. She always sends me such beautiful brugmansias......and seems to know when my spirit needs a good lift.
The second one looks like First Belle...she had buds and had already bloomed before the swap date.
Guess Bear( the dumb blonde canine) and I did good packing....you did find the seeds didn't you? :-))))
Lol, Ginger you and Bear done a beautiful job on packing those plants! Checked the tag this morning and yes the photo is of First Belle. I did find the seeds and have them soaking in distilled water to plant in the morning. Thank you again for sharing these beauties with me.
:-))) No problem. Sorry you couldn't make the swap. I *think* Pam said you had a sick doggie? Hope all is well now with the furbaby.
Those are lovely.... yannow... I don't think there are any better people than gardeners.. Everyone I have met is beyond wonderful and so willing to share... I don't have much to share, but I have a few cuttings that I will be sending out to someone soon...
Carolyn
WOW! That is totally cool that you got cuttings with actual buds on them!!
I agree PVPlanter... gardeners are certainly a special breed! ♥
Ginger, no it wasn't me with the sick doggie. I have a Yorkie named Sassy that is shared between two sisters, one brother, my daughter & myself. We all love Sassy as much as she loves us....so we decided to share her. At the moment Sassy is living it up in College Station, Tx. with my sister Paula.
Teresa, it was a nice suprise. Like you I agree with Carolyn, gardenders are the best.
