Followed this truck in from the lake. Thought we'd never catch up to him so I could get a photo......
"Guess this would be considered "Texas Gardening!"
BB what does it say?? I have tried several times to pull up the pic but it keeps timing out.
It says, "My daughters will work for college." Then there's a pic on the right of a girl pushing a lawnmower.
Really cute!
LOL!!! Instead of work for food, they are working for college! Too funny!
We finally passed him, and I looked over and waved. He didn't look much more than 30.....so I'm wondering how safe it would be for his little girls to be mowing!
Still pretty good advertising!
Hey bubbles!
Long time no hear from! How's the weather up there? You planted anything for a fall crop? I put some "greens" in my EBs yesterday, and still have a few more to go. Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, spinach and lettuce, too.
Also, I put together a home made drip system to automatically water my EBs and my eBuckets. It's BocaBob's design. I bought the parts and he told me how to put it all together in about 15 minutes. For the $75 I spent, he says I can hook up approximately 40 drip lines! If it works this fall, I'm gonna do it again for all my patio containers in the Spring/Summer! No more watering!!!! Yay!!!
Linda
um...p.s. we just finished a pot of greens i cooked last week...hamhocks and all!
Thanks for telling me you've already eaten all the greens and hamhocks........especially since you know I cain't cook 'em!! Mine were like mush...yuck!
Drip system is great idea. DH hooked one up for me, but I kept moving things around and it wasn't very effecient that way. Had planned to make another attempt this summer, but I'm just not sure we had a summer here. If we did, it went really fast, and I missed it!
Sheesh - GG, If we had known we would and invaded your kitchen last night. LOL.
Thanks for sharing the picture BB..
Wish I had one of the bumper sticker I saw in Lubbock near Texas Tech - a coed in a VW Bug had it -
"When I grow up, I want to be like Martha Stewart, That B.... knows everything!"
Excellent photo!
