Hi folks,
I'm just dong a pulse check at this point. I am thinking of coordinating a tomato and pepper seed swap later in November. This would be for named varieties.
For every pepper seed packet you send you get another pepper seed packet in return. Same idea for tomatoes, unless you enclose a note indicating you are open to receiving either in return. Each packet should contain a minimum of 10 seeds.
I have posted a similar note on the Canadian gardenweb exchange site and D.G. - International trading forum to see if there is some interest out there. I just put in a few commercial orders for peppers and tomatoes and would certainly have some variety to swap.
If we can get a minimum of 10 people interested in swapping, we will proceed. Any guidelines or limitations on volume would be determined later, once we have a sense of how many might be interested in swapping.
Post here if you think you'd be interested in participating.
Thanks...Heather
P.S. I am in Canada. If you are outside of Canada, You would need to send enough funds to pay for return postage when you mail your seeds in for the exchange. Postage to the US is $1.15 (CAD) and internationally is $1.60 (CAD). (Canadian or US dollars funds are fine). I also have a paypal account if that makes things easier to pay for postage. I'm happy to provide the return envelope.
