buying from Thailand

has anyone had any problems buying Plumeria's from Thailand ? i have been waiting six weeks and no Plumeria.if it has been traveling for six weeks i would imagine it's dead by now.

Pat it happens could have been sent without paper work if so it will be destoyed they will send you paper work and tell you so. Fla colors has alot thai plants right here Fla. There very good and the prices are proably cheaper not having to wait and pay for paper work and transit.

Who did you buy from? Ebay is full of Thai scammers (not maligning the few good ones who are mixed in).

I agree - buy from a local person who has imported and checked the plants before selling on.

I have bought but never was scamed if you pick the big growers they have there ebay account to protect never had a problem. If they have bad feed back theres a reason

Yes it was ebay.....and had good revues.I got in touch with pay pal and they will have them e-mail me,that way at least i will know were the plant is. .It was a Verigated as well

Yeah you can tell ecomony bad when you can get a verigated plumie for 10 dollars thai people have killed the american market. If your not doing it for fun you just out of luck.

Yep Dana...I pretty much have stopped...except for trading and the odd sale here and there. It's just crazy how cheap they can sell them for...and they have a great selection...yuou just have to find the right people. Next season I am going to sell off most of my duplicates from other's nurseries and concentrate on my own varieties...

I hear ya can't compete. I'm still stuck on the seeds lol next year I should put on a heck of a show mine are just 2 yrs old first batch too late now has already getting cooler temps here. And one thing about it price is right.
