Hi Birdie. We must be neighbors!!! I also live in Plainwell MI! Welcome to the site. Glad you are here. Ronna

Thanks for the nice welcome!! I actually live in Prarieville, and our 80 acres connect to the 5000 acres that is "Lux Arbor". A reserve that is kept by Mi state University. My husband and I are "empty nesters".With 4 grown, married children, and 3 grandbabies ages..... 2yrs, 14 months, and 13 months.
I raise pea fowl, ornamental pheasants, and chickens. We also have draft horses.
I've been gardening for aprox. 5 yrs. And I'm VERY much still in the learning phases. I'm very open to trading plants, seeds, cuttings, whatever!! And if you don't have something to trade at the time, but I've got something you'd like to try, thats ok too. I have the usuall ton of large hostas, wisteria, assorted vines (silver lace etc.), yarrow, ferns, some false solomon seal, assorted lilys, bushes and shrubs, flowering artichoke, english ivy, myrtle, fox glove, grasses, roses, rudbeckia, widflowers, and heritage tomatos. I know there's lots more, I'm just drawing a blank at the moment.
I sure hope to learn alot from all of you. My favorite thing to grow is my morning glorys. They seem to do well here, and so I'm hoping to get a few japanese varitys to try in the spring. Nice to meet you all!! Goodnight, Birdie
