Is this a Bromeliad?

Brookeland, TX(Zone 8b)

I received a free cutting with a cactus order that I placed. The seller didn't label it and then didn't respond to emails asking questions about it.
Hopefully you can tell me if you think it'll be a bromeliad.

You're right Mel, it might be Billbegria 'hallelujah' or something similar. Thats pretty good for a freebee!
