CLOSED: Hellebores, tricyrtis, epimedium & more - next few days only

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

I'm visiting my parents in the mountains of NC and trying to clear their paths. The following are available for trade but I must know by Sunday morning in time to dig and ship on MONDAY:

Hellebores (avg 4-10") - don't know what colors as they self-seeded
Tricyrtis - (3-6" baby plants) probably miyazaki but no guarantee. flower along stem.
Round-lobed hepatica
Epimedium - also self-seeded - could be white, yellow or red/white flowered.
Skimmia - baby volunteers - mother plant is both male/female.
Partridgeberry (ground cover)
Variegated bamboo - small plants
Baby plants of a giant native rhododendron.

Will trade for anything on my tradelist, but prefer not to receive my plants (unless bulbs) before spring. Also for propagation books and/or supplies. Or make an interesting offer.
Thanks.
PS No digital camera here so I can't post photos.

We garderners go everywhere and work don't we?
I would like to try the tricyrtis, the hepatica, abd the skimmia.
You could check my tradelist and see if there is anything you would like for the trade.

Hey I found you...LOL
I just e-mailed you...Thank You So Very Much...
Thought you were only gonna rake leaves....??
Hope Your Enjoying your Visit..

Hi Phyllis,
You're very welcome. Mostly have been raking leaves - very enjoyable, to the sounds of the babbling creek - oh yeah, also sawed down a few small dead trees - too much work to be enjoyable, but my parents are no longer able to do much around the property. They used to be avid wildflower / rock gardeners, so it's kind of heartbreaking to see their gardens not kept up, so the more I do, the better I feel about it. Sorry I haven't got to your email yet.
Velmansia, will d-mail you tomorrow after I look at your list. One good thing about hard work - no threat of insomnia tonight, and last night I fell asleep in record time - maybe a minute?

Sounds like it's a much needed and deserved vacation...
And it's always nice to spend time with the parents.
Sleep well..

Do you have any idea what color the rhodie is???

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi Cathy,
My Dad says it's a rhododendron maximus (and they can get huge). The buds start out pinkish but the flowers are white when they open.

I might be interested in a start of it. I'll dmail you
