I failed to say anything before leaping in here. Didn't know I could. Boy am I finding a lot of wonderful info on this site.
I am confined to a wheelchair when out doors. I have very little balance so can't walk on uneven surfaces. I have 4 grown children that have little interest in gardening. I have 2 dogs, 5 birds and did have a 20 year old cat who died a few month ago.
I had polio as a baby. I was in an motorcycle accident 10 years ago and was severly injured and had to have a hip replaced. Five years ago I had colon cancer and am doing very nicely from that. Three years ago I had a serious illness that finished my lungs off and am now on oxygen 24 hours a day.
I adore gardening and house plants. I am extremely slow and nothing looks the way I want. It is hard to get help with yard work.
Sorry to rattle on. I'd love to have someone that has the same interest I have to chat on line with once in a while.
Happy gardening and I am happy to be here.
