This brug ranks in the diminutive bloom category, however what she lacks in bloom size she makes up for in quantity of blooms. Taylor Dawn is a very vigorous brug that blooms heavy and often. The blooms are a light pink and heavily fragrant at night. there was a time that I was going to get rid of her to make room for more seedlings but she never stopped blooming so i wound up keeping her. I'm glad i did because she lent herself to being grown easily as a tree form and now takes up little space but has a nice shading canopy for the brugs growing below her. She is grown here in south florida in full sun and she loves it. The only negative thing that I can say about her is that i do need to keep an eye on the broad mites because they seem to favor her. Once the mites are kept in check she is a dream to grow.
Taylor Dawn
Pretty blooms. Don't you just hate any kind of mite..........
I think she is just lovely! How tall is she?
She has two trunks. One is about 5'tall the other about 10'. The picture is of the taller trunk. She is in a 15 gallon pot and really needs to be upgraded .
I can see her in this one of mine called Elfin Pink ...though I have yet to see a bloom in the warm weather ...I have chopped her down because she is too tall 8ft at ten months old ...and I want to see them up close and personal.Yours is just lovely ...how dark does she get? here is mine she has Taylor Dawn as a a pollinator and Velvet Rose as a pod parent. here is a Winter shot
I see a lot of velvet rose in your bloom of Elfin Pink. Those tendrils are definitely mommas. lilac tint to the bloom is definitely poppas!
