Great Blue Heron

Yep, Great Blue Heron.

Unusual for one of these to fly with its neck stretched out, but they do occasionally do so.

Thanks. That one flying took off from a pond, circled around and landed back on the pond. might have been frightened by something. I shot on continuous mode and looks like most of the pictures were indeed with neck NOT stretched out.
