Ok what I have and may have for future trades

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I was asked about my wish list but it is easier to put a list of what I have on here.
Those that many be ready to take cutting next spring will have a * beside them. There probably be other next year but right now I do not have the time to go through and write down each one's stage. To keep each response short and save my poor hands I will post it in sections. Beside I will have to look up the colors on some.

I have not either sense most where bought last year and this year but they came from Got epis and epi galleria so I know they are good. I hope the will bloom but with with the squirrels braking off so much new growth and DD in the hospital still my care has not been totally up to par. Which reminds me it is time to feed again.

I will put the next group in shortly.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Good Lets keep this going. A good web site to look up plants is www.graydavisepies.com/index.html it has april shower

I will list more of my plats tomorrow. I see a few that I will be intrested in.

Right now all my plants are in the greenhouse, ready for winter. I used to have a huge greenhouse, but this past spring, a tornado totally destroyed it. I bought a cheep small greenhouse till I can get something bigger. It is so packed right now, that I cant even walk around freely in it. To water everything, I just stand in the doorway and spray the hose everywhere from the one end...lol. To make a long story short, I do not know exactly what I have, and will not know till spring when I take them out of the greenhouse. I do know I have a bunch of different varieties of rhipsalis (just about every kind you can think of), and perhaps a few unnamed orchid cactus. I will probably also have some tropicals and regular cactus that I would be willing to trade for epis.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I am back. I will be adding on to the list. Lets just list every thing we have so we will have some Idea of what we each had and keep it up dated. The reason I started this is some one wonted to know what I did not have but wonted so they could get same to make future trades with me and it was much easier to list my have list than my wont list as I have only seen 1 or 2 that I did not wont. LOL

I understand about the green house as I am trying to get one.

Can someone trade if they do not have any epi's to trade? I have one plant and it is "Queen of the night" and I would love to have other colors. DO ya'll trade for other things of does anyone do postage???

Carol

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I am very easy going about it trade, postage or nothing at all. But I will not have any more cutting untill next year. unless I brake more pieces off when I move them to their new greenhouse. I am going to make a new thread just listing what I have, marking those that I am preaty sure will be big enough next summer for at least one cutting. Y'all will have to look up the colors. I

In the mean time go check out the following sites both have good cuttings at a good price. I have gotten most of mine form them

www.gotepis.com/cart a very good source but you have to look often as he sells out quick.
www.epigalleria.com also very nice cuttings.
both us paypal.com

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks for the info! I checked them both out. The 1st one is sold out of nearly everything, and the second one I found quite a few, but I didn't order yet. I am thinking on it... I guess I could order just a couple to see how they do. Being really choosey I found 7 that I wanted but it seems to add up to quite a bit for just cuttings. I know they are very special plants, but still... I don't know if they might not root for me. I think I might just order 2 and see waht happens.

Thanks again!

Carol

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Both sites have great cuttings. And I have had about 96% success rate with them. And only one one of those I think was the cutting-it was very fat with fluid-the second cutting of the same one was thin.

I like Got Epis best but he do sale out fast so check often. He does have a great Mother's day sale.

Epis root easily long as you do not over water. Most of the ones I lost where do to all the rain that was blown into the carport during the hurricane. Days and days of rain. I had one root laying on the ground.

Pawleys Island, SC

Yardqueen, In the spring, In the spring, I will have some rooted dragon fruit that I can trade. I like wren, will trade for things other than epis and often do postage when I have cuttings available. I am working on a list now. Linda

Wren, just go ahead and put me down for 1 of each, and I'll do the same for you. LOL (then we will be like the kid who has all the toys)

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I have a good start on it . I do have 2 extra "Eden" (they where free) rooted plants. But it is getting to cold to ship. But next spring if I can figure out how to ship them they will be available for trade. I have done the inventory so I know what I have ID so I will start a thread listing everything. See you there.

Wrenn: Thanks for the direct to http://www.epigalleria.com/ as I was able to find and order quite a few new additions. The cuttings you sent me are looking fine and I look forward to seeing blooms in a couple of years. bob

Well, I guess I will just have to be patient! LOL I can wait till spring I guess. I hope my QON doesn't lose her blooms since I had to bring her into the greenhouse. Her blooms will help ease the pain!

Carol

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I have the full list posted now. So go see, I did not add descriptions so you can spend the winter looking up the pictures and drooling!!!!!
