Musical Note Plant, Morning Kiss, Witches Tongue (Clerodendrum incisum)

I have a small plant of this species and love the delicate flowers. Has it ever made seeds for you? I tried hand pollinating the flowers, and maybe some day it may make a seed pod.

Hi Joseph isn't it beautiful ?. Mine has made seeds but you have to watch carefully as they drop when they are green and quickly. I saved some and they dried to a dark brown . They look good but I haven't planted any yet. I will see if I can find any to take a picture of on the plant.
I did find my plant had layered so I think that is probably an easier way of propagating it.

Magi

Are the seeds large like Clerodendrum ugandense seeds, Magi? The calyces seem to fall off the plant I am growing so I guess I will have to try again. Thanks for the information, yes I couldn't stop looking at the plant when I first saw its flowers.

Magi,

Thank you for taking the time to post these interesting photos. I will know exactly how to recognize the seeds if I can hand pollinate them successfully!

Joseph
