Epiphyllum oxypetalum to a good home

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Anyone interested in some free cuttings of epiphyllum oxypetalum. I took the cuttings a week ago thinking that I was able to go to a RU but my DD is still in the hospital, I was unable to go and I do not need any more of these.

I do not wont anything in trade, I just do not want them to go to waste. (I could not believe that they where selling on e-bay for $7.50)

I would like one. I am just starting with the orchid cactus so do not have any to send you that you do not have. I have this great houseplant though. it is kind of a cross between a spider plant and a succulent. Some people call it monkey plant, why I do not know. Anyway, I can send some of that if you want it.

I would love a cutting. Maybe I can tempt you with some lotus (nelumbo nucifera) seeds. Please D-mail me.
Sylvain.

Both of you please send me a d-mail with your address. And no need to tempt me right now. I have to cut back for winter and beside they are already cut. Maybe come spring, after I get that green.shade house.

though darn I wish I had a lake for those lotus seeds

Sending you dmail. You do not need a lake or pond for lotus. They will happily grown in a large pot without a drainage hole. :^)

How big of a pot? I have one but it is only 3 ft across and about 3 high. I grow my water loving button bush and hibiscus in them.

That is more than big enough. A lot of folks will get a couple of 18" pots and grow them on either side of the door or on the back porch/deck. If you ever look at ponds you will notice that left to their own devices they will usually be found in the shallow water near the banks.

Great. Sounds good Now I just have to figure where to put the pot. I only have 200+ pots. And that is not counting my epis!!!!

Sending you my address.

Thanks.
