Is there anyway to teach a cat to cover his waste in the litter box? He scratches at the sides of the litterbox instead of covering it. It's driving my family crazy. I have to go in and cover it and spray neutralizer. MY DH is joking that he's going to become an outdoor cat and that is just not an option as he is deaf and can't find his way home when he did get out once. He went to the neighbor's door and cried at it until I came and got him. I'm going to try removing the cover of the box in case the sides are messing him up?
